Welcome to Belle Plaine, WI

Belle Plaine is just south of the city of Shawano in north central Wisconsin. With a population of 1,855, it is largely rural and includes several lakes, including Cloverleaf and Long lakes, and a portion of the Wolf River. Main highways running through it are U.S. 29 and Wisconsin 22. Our town celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2008.
