Garbage Collection Curbside
Harter’s Fox Valley Disposal collects garbage in the large plastic containers at curbside every Thursday morning except during holiday weeks. Residents can place their garbage cans at the end of their driveways. Recyclables, such as paper, cans and plastic, are picked up every other week. See the schedule on this page.

- All garbage and recycling must be set out no later than 6 a.m. on the day of collection.
- No plastic bags in recycling bins.
- Large Items are collected every month at the residents’ expense. Residents must call Harter’s at (888) 804-8556 to get on the collection list and for pricing information.

For education and information on recycling go to their web site type in: https://recyclemoretricounty.org On the first page scroll down to “Under basics”. There are many videos that are very interesting and some are funny. Hard to believe it but they will hold your interest and you will learn a lot.

- Due to problems switching the whole town to curbside pick up, the Recycling Center will remain open from 9-12 am on Saturdays until further notice.
Compost Site
Open in spring and closed for the winter.
Notice to the Town of Belle Plaine compost site hours 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
